This was Thanksgiving week further north than our cabin in Wisconsin. We had snow but, the U.P. of Michigan had a light dusting. The attraction of this farm was the color, temperature, and far-off hill in the background. All was quiet but, if you listen very closely you could almost hear the cracking of the fire coming from the hearth.
This watercolor study is painted on 300 lb. Arches paper ready to be matted and framed.
